HIKE & BREW
OCTOBER 19th, 2025 at 3pm
Please join us for a fun hike and brewery meet-up this October! Members of CALA and their families will be meeting up for an easy 2.5 mile hike through the Old Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park. We will immediately reward our hard work with beers and food at Paperpack Brewery Co. (~10 minute drive).
Meet us here at 3PM for the Hike
Old Los Angeles Zoo Trail, Griffith Park
This is an easy, mostly flat, 2.5 mile loop. There is only minimal shade so plan to bring sun protection and water. Dogs are allowed on leash.
Please park in Merry Go Round Lot One (south of the Merry Go Round) and meet near the Fern Canyon Trailhead .
Meet us at Paperback Brewery Co. around ~5PM for the Beer
Paperback Brewery Co. - 422 Magnolia Ave, Glendale, CA 91204
We will head to the brewery after our hike, with arrival between 4:30pm- 5pm expected. The brewery is a 10 minute drive from the trailhead. There is street parking and outdoor seating. Food by Bun & Blanket will be available.
Join us for both, one or the other, and please RSVP!
